Worth knowing and frequently asked questions
Our prices are per room and per night, including a rich, vegetarian breakfast, taxes and
the visitor's tax of CHF 4.50 per person/night.
We are pleased to cater to allergies, intolerances and special requests for breakfast for a
corresponding surcharge. Please let us know your requests in advance of your arrival, in
order we can organise everything on time.
If you book directly by email, you get a discount of 10% on the price of the stay for
bookings of minimum 3 nights.
We are happy to organise the regional panorama card for you for the entire stay.
This allows free use of the STI bus network and includes also discounts in museums,
sports facilities and much more. Please inform us about the full names of all travellers
before your arrival. This way we can give you the cards at your check-in.
A cot is available on request, depending on the size of the room.
The rooms in the historic building can be reached (without a lift) through the winding
stairs.
The rooms no 1 to no 4 are on the second floor and share two common bathrooms.
The rooms no 5 and no 6 are on the first floor and have their own bathroom.
The simple room no 7 is located in in the quiet inner courtyard and has also its own
bathroom.
You won't find a TV or similar distractions at our place. You will still not miss anything.
Pets are not allowed in the hotel. We are a non-smoking house.
There is a public and covered bicycle parking space in the immediate vicinity for your
bicycles. Bring your own lock.
You can park your car in one of the nearby parking garages. We recommend the
“Schlossbergparking” or the “City Nord / Grabengut”. In both parking garages it is
possible to buy a more economically multi-day ticket, just after the first entrance.
You are welcome to stop just in front of the hotel to unload your luggage.
We are a small business and we are often on a shopping spree, in the garden or out for a
swim in the “Aare” ... We kindly ask you to contact us in time regarding your arrival time.
However, we are always personally on site during the restaurant opening times.
The latest check-out time is 11 a.m. We are happy to keep your luggage with us on the
day of departure.
